Cheating in class
this is a big issue for the college and the faculty faces the challenges.

This simple method is very effective. Too many instructors want to sit and grade papers when they should be monitoring tests. The instructor needs to at least stand during testing.

I currently have a classroom that is completely full, so separation during exams is hard to come by. Instead I have been walking around, up and down aisles just as a presence to deter cheating. Seems to be working so far.
In order to avoid cheating in my class, I separate the students and I watch them from the side of the class. Most importantly, I make sure that my students are well prepared by lecturing on the topics for the test and giving them time to prepare themselves. Hopefully, this will help avoid cheating.
