Mistakes

I like how it talked about making a mistake and recognizing it fixing it for the next time.

I agre Kelly. One of the best compliments I have received from a student is that I keep it real in her words. I appreciated how the Knowledge Byte stated to use humor when explaining how the instructor made the mistake and how I will correct it. I can get so tickled at my own mistakes that it becomes contagious with my class and they begin to laugh and the concentration becomes that I am a human just like they are instead of me being someone "perfect." It heightens the relationship between the students and it relaxes the class atmosphere.

Hi Tamara,
I understand! You can certainly learn from other's mistakes.
Patricia

And even better than that is to learn from someonelses mistakes as to not make the same.

Hi Kelly,
Mistakes are inevitable. They will be made, the lesson is to learn from each mistake and not make the same mistake twice.
Patricia

Hi Kelli,
I concur. Afterall, none of us are perfect. We are humans just like our students. Mistakes are inevitable.
Patricia

I agree. No students want perfect instructors, they want real instructors. If the teacher will admit when he/she makes a mistake or does not know it all, then the students can relate better.
