I actually love taking notes as a new instructor not just for later in the term but for the next terms it seems to help more students down the road when you ask and answer a question from tthe past with new the new people you have later

Hi Hany,
Note taking is helpful to veterans as well. When I teach a revised course or new course, I take notes as to how to make things go smoother the next time I teach the course. I also share my notes with others that will be teaching the course.
