Mistakes
As a instructors your personal life should be separate from class discussion, unless you are trying to make a vital point to help the student in some way.
Keeping it professional and on target of the content helps keep the students focused and not having them drift away.

Absolutely! When a student discovers that I have made a mistake, I praise the student. I accept my mistake and move forward, after all we all make mistakes.

I think making mistakes is not the end of the world. Admit to the students you made a mistake & correct any wrong information given to the students. I thikn it lets the student ssee that you are not above them. I encourage a student who has discovered a mistake.
