I too do the same as you do. Admit the mistake, correct it, move on, and don't beat yourself up. Learn from each mistake made.

When I make a mistake I always admit to doing so, correct it and move on. I think it is important the students learn that making a mistake is not the end of the world and I think they respect you more for owning up to it. This may also teach them to do so in the future.
