New instructor worries
As an experience instructor my greatest worries are not that I can instuct my class, but that at the end of the course, Iask myself did I teach my students enough to move on to the next challenge.
I didn't have that many years of industry experience when I first started teaching but I felt comfortable because of the support I got from the older more experienced Teachers on staff.
After 30 years at my trade, I felt comfortable with my ability, but not so as it pertained to my new vocation in teaching. My fellow instructors were a great support group and in no time I was an old pro.
Hi Anthony,
Most students will most definitely give you their greatest level of attention if they know that the questions you are asking will be on the test.

when i was new i felt the same way.to answer these types of questions,it may be helpfull to keep track of which tests questions the class as a whole missed, and and consider how that information was presented.i watched a more experienced instructor develope a line of questioning that could confirm a students knowledge of subjects they tought.asking them questions regularly will bring to light any gaps.students like your personal investment in asking just them.knowing they are going to have to repeat the information to you can increase the attention you get.
I am a new instuctor I have the same worries. Will I exude enough expertise that students trust they will be competent in the subject matter.
