Do you ever allow students to teach lectures/topics in your classes?
yes, I think it's the perfect way for the students to understand what instructors go through... every class I give them a project where they have to teach me a topic and when they are done they have a better understanding of what it takes to be in front of 30 something students and to try to keep their attention
I dont allow students to teach but, I will allow them to role play so that they can learn.
Qunna, yes but under a specific set of circumstances. The student must first be in good standing with all assignments and making a good grade in the class and typically in the top 25% of the class. I also have them send me their lesson plan ahead of time so I can review it beforehand and we discuss their materials in advance.
