Using various forms of technology makes the classroom student centered not teacher centered.
There are many applications available to incorporate technology into the classroom. Schoology can be used to extend discussions beyond the classroom, ask questions from outside of class, and view shared resources. Other applications allow students to create newsfeeds that apply to the learning. PowerPoint and Prezi can be incorporated to allow students to create multimedia presenations, and Slideshare can be used to upload or download presentations on specific topics as open source material. Adobe Captivate allows users to create interactive onlline learning modules and applications such as Google Docs and ZOHO Notebook allow students to collaborate in real time.
Technology places an advantage in the finger tips of students and teachers. Teaching and learning various technology enhances a lesson aand learning. Find ways to integrate and collaborate through technology.
There are so many great applications available today to create presentations that are interactive and engaging to students. Prezi is a great example of one.
Being able to share information and collaborate with applications like Google is vital for education.
Using an app that allows student to turn in their assignments to makes it easier to find for presentations, along with the fact that when they turn it in it is dated and times.
I am still wading through all of the available technology and trying to determine which ones I like and which one will actually work for me.
I don't think I am ready to commit to any special software/program/app/etc. Only time will tell.
with this there are ways to save time and with ease to have other ways of input for the student to use when we want them to.
SLide share is a great place to share presenations and have them post on other popular social networks
My own children seemlessly use Google Classroom applications including google drive, google slides, google docs, etc to access and submit class materials since Covid. Our college uses Balckboard as the LMS. I hope to be able to better incorporate use of Powerpoint, Prezi, Canva, and other available technology to enhance learner engagement in and out of the classroom setting.
I am now more aware of new technology and the importance.
There are new ways to use technology for note taking. I could use the Zoho Notebook for my classes, so my students can access it on all of their devices.
Google Slides is my choice to share with students and for students to share with me.

Some of these apps I have used are great in the classroom. Good interaction and learning taking place with these wonderful apps. Some new ones were presented that I'd like to experiment with and hopefully use them in my teaching.
There are so many technology based applications to help with sharing content. Streams from Microsoft was not mentioned but has been invaluable to me in sharing recorded videos of courses. Cloud storage is critical today to make sure that no one loses their files in the event a computer crashes.
I wasn't aware that there are so many interactive presentation software options. I want to learn more about them and apparently I am not using Power Point to its full potential.
I learned about numerous course management tools that I intend to look into to help with my instruction. I really like free options!
