Brain Anatomy

I really like the shower cap idea.
When I begin my neurosurgery lecture I like to show a video from youtube titled, "Pinky and the Brainstem, The Brain." It is an eye-opener for the students to see cartoon characters correctly pronouncing neuro terminology/anatomy in a fun, catchy tune and seems to really engage them.

Donna, thank you for sharing your willingness to use a new idea in your class. I appreciate it!

I think this idea is great and I am going to adapt it into my A&P class.

It is cheap and effective.

KEN, these caps are available in packs at dollar stores.

The brain skull-cap anatomy seems like a very innovated and fun tool to use for my introduction/developmental psychology courses. When better explaining the 4 main lobes of the brain (to include main function(s) may work to the students’ advantage.

John, I'm glad this idea is one you like and see as useful. I hope you implement it in your classes.

That was a unique way to teach students about the anatomical terms associated with the brain. I particularly like the fact that you can also used this technique to understand infarction locations and neurological diseases. This can be so much fun for students and so much memory retained. Excellent!

Alice, thanks for sharing you favorite idea here. I will look for it and use it when I can. Thanks!
