ABG (PIZZA)

I personally don't think the pizza idea for blood gases is a good method for learning blood gases. I've been teach respiratory blood gases for over 6 years in a respiratory program. Students will not fully comprehend what is needed by this exercise.

This is a sensory example of what is everyday for our students. It is a good frame of reference that is more tangible as an introduction before more involved theory. The students reaction to acidic and alkalinic foods would give them a sense of reaction to help them "visualize" a body might react.

Im not sure this is a good idea either. Again decorating a cupcake may be something easier to use.
