I agree. Asking other instructors what works well for them and/or observing another's class and seeing for yourself how their particular class reacts to their teaching style is very helpful and can give you a lot of insight into your own shortcomings and strengths.
things must change with each different class as they are all different
Kelly, I've found my best ideas come from my teaching peers. Networking is a great tool!
I like to compare techniques with my fellow instructors to see what ideas they have. They have great ideas.
