Jeopardy is always fun

Jeopardy is a great end of term assessment. Have had great success but I am definitely going to use the ball toss and Q&A relay

Agree The ball toss relay will keep them motivated and will be useful with my age group of students

Irby, thank you for explaining what works with coding.

Michele Deck

Yes, coding guidelines are perfect for jeopardy. We usually use the harder subjects like OB/GYN or Neoplasm Tables for the higher point questions.

Irby, it is good to focus your Jeopardy reviews to certain areas that need reinforcing.

Michele Deck

thank you Jeopardy works well for coding based guidelines review. Assign guidelines and LCDs for reading assignments then two class periods use the material for Jeopardy quewstions. I focsus on time limits i.e. services limits and timely filing points

Tahiddie, I like to use this for review, also.

JEOPARDY IS A TOOL THAT HELPS THE STUDENTS TO BE ABLE TO THINK AND THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW MENTALLY WHAT HAS BEEN TAUGHT.

Everyone knows Jeopardy, and football which is something I will try.

i love surting on a jeopardy quiz when i feel the material has been covered as a means of reinforcing learning as this improves participation.

I think I will try it too. Maybe as a review before exams.

Carin,
I play the Jeopardy game in my class and I agree about it being a great review. I am in the process of building a little wheel to add Wheel of Fortune to my activity list.

Yes, my students have had HOURS of fun in classes and it works best when odd sounding categories are used that relate to the terms, e.g., NERO'S NEW TAN MITTENS for a category dealing with neurotransmitters.

Love the Jeopardy game, I create a Jeopardy game for each mode as a study guidea and kinda of also figure out who will still struggle and who will not on the final. I went on line and searched how to create my own jeopardy game without the use of the internet, and it works, the students love and look forward to it. And..yes I do like the other suggestions mentioned.

Vickie, I know you will have success with it, also!

I haven't had the opportunity to play jeopardy yet but my coworker has and the students really enjoyed it. I am loking forward to playing it soon.

I was thinking that Jeopardy would be a great game, but after reading this lesson and being introduced to other games, I am sure I will have plenty to make class interesting and engaging. Many of the examples given in this lesson have room for addition of rules, and they seem to be able to get the students out their seats, which is needed for some learner if not most.

Most will agree Jeopardy works.

The use of Jeopardy allows more coverage of the topics and the students have fun when doing it.

A popular activity most everyone is familar with and easy to participate
