Mystery word

This activity I think would be most appropriate for my class. I give out bone pens or syringe pens at the end of my class, just for being able to make it the entire course, and I could use them throughout the course as prizes for the winners, then give out the rest at the end of the course.

I a excited to use this tool! I plan on having this written on my white board first thing in the morning every morning. The students who arrive early will have something to focus on and an edge over the others who tend to be tardy. I also hope that this will be a motivation to attend class and to be prompt!

Danielle, shop at the dollar stores for non food items, or give tokens that allows learners to turn it for food they pick up outside the room.

Great idea! I have used candy in the past, but OSHA and accreditation requires no food/drink in rooms. Any other ideas for prizes?

I can't wait to try this next week! Great idea! Students love suspense

I'm glad this is one you can use.

I think the mystery word will be a fun way to keep the students engaged with the terms. I was looking for something fun. I will definitely use this one.

Oriental trading in Omaha Nebraska is a good place to order inexpensive prized and so is tool thyme for trainers, both on internet.

I agree great prize suggestions. where do you order them?

The act of winning can be a reward in itself, but prizes are a nice treat for learners.

I really do like tyhe mystery word game and will start using this game next week in my class. Good ideas to hacve some type of prize at the end. Helps with motivaiton.

I agree, calling it a mystery word game is a good thing.

I would prefer to call fill in the blanks a mystery word game because the students feel its a game and not an assessment.

Great prize suggestions!
