Socorro , I never force people to play. I find if I put people in teams that can answer together, more people are comfortable participating.

I use many different games to help students retain medical terminology but some feel childish and do not participate, what can I do to motivate them without embarrassing them? I believe some are just shy.
Diane, lecture is only one of the methods we can use.

When student have the games or tactile learning, it appears they really enjoy the experience as it gets them up and moving around rather than listening to more lectures.
