Occasionally, I find a learner who doesn't like games, but if they view them as reviews and learning tools, they usually go along with the plan, and then see the value as they are able to remember he content.
I agree with you. Some students are intimidated or unsure of themselves and anxiety can surely get in the way of remebering. I cant think of too many individuals that dont like games I think that games are a great low risk activity for all learners.
Anxiety can get in the way of thinking and remembering for students, so games and other activities can be low risk and not threatening for learners.
I teach Nail technology and I am also a Medical Assisting student. I find for me that game help me learn new information. I know, for me, that games help me to relax and make the learning process more fun and by using games in class with my students it also helps them relax and learn.
