I like the exercise involving the drawing of pictures related to the terms - I will have to work on my drawing skills to make it effective though!

Students may need to create their own drawings for a term based on their experiences for better connect to the learning. My pictures may not make sense for other learners. I have used Frayer Frames for my students which have four boxes - Term, picture, learner created definition, and term used in a sentence or example(s). The Frames can be made in a notebook on half a sheet or large index card.
