50% of the students are visual learners and its easier for them to catch on. In some chapters with the lecturer i may show a surgery it's very exciting to the students
Tenille, right now most lessons are taught in an auditory format. Making more lessons visual is a desired effect.

Maria, doing a hands on demonstration is a way to measure and evaluate learning.

I agree. If you explain the subject matter and demostrate them as well especially in clincal classes, students are able to remember what was taught. And one way of measuring what they learned is to ask them to re demonstrate.
I must say that the majority of the students are visual and kinesthetic learners. If they see and demostrate back to us what was taught, memory retention improves.
