Hangman
I've done hangman with our medical terminology words by giving hints after every wrong letter guessed. It works in a time cruch.
That is a great idea. I will be using this soon. You are never too old to enjoy hangman. I may use this tonight when we review for finals.
Tiameeka, using older games is a time saver in tht you don't have to spend too much time learning the rules.

It's amazing how so many suggestions come from "old school" games that many of us played as children. And we learned back then, so it would stand to reason that we get back to what used to work. Hangman is a great idea.
I think this is a fun game for most because it invokes pleasant memories for us. It also helps to engage all the learners and provokes a competitiveness within the classroom.
I've never thought about using hangman. I'll definately use that in the upcoming quarters! We need to use a wide aray of methods just so that we have other plans in the event one fails.
I used that method sometime and found that student really like this game.
I have also done this. Sometimes it helps them to remember the word next time.
Mischa, this is a great strategy when time is short. This is an effective review.
