That is one of the down sides of having a online course is that you can get tons of late night and/or early morning phone calls due to time zones.
I have to agree it is a problem but as instructors we are here to help. Though it may interrupt our lives its something we have to live with or do we ? My suggestion is to get a "virtual number" (also known as a DID number) this way your not interrupted until you are ready.
Being a previous online student as well, I must admit, sometimes I don't look at time prior to calling for assistance. After realizing the time, I honesly admit I felt guilty.
What to do ? We, as instructors, do have a life as well. Do we wish to be interrupted during our lives ? or should we take advantage of technology ?
