I have started doing this as well and students do seem to like the videos very much....my only concern is will students rely too much on the video?

I create instructional videos for my courses and the students appreciate it. They indicate it is easier to follow than reading or taking snippets of information here and there from the course materials. It is a great help to students for completing computer assignments.

I'm currently attending an online course for a very complex IT solution, the graphics & flash videos are done so properly that sometimes it feels like I'm watching an animated feature, it definitely contributes to keeping me interested all the time.
