In a learning Technology is a new effective way of learning, everything is computerized and Now in these day students dont want to read, but there are diffenent kinds of learning.

I agree. I had a class where the students were instructed to answer questions "in their own words". I actually had a student e-mail me to ask how they were supposed to answer the questions if they could not use the "cut" and "paste" function in Word.

Technology is good to use; however, we can not forget the basics in education. Reading is fundamental in the educational process. The problem with education today is we have lost the fundamentals and rely to heavily on technology.

Students not wanting to read, wanting everything more visual, is a problem not only present in the online learning environment, but also in the presencial (face2face) environment.
I think the role of the instructor nowadays is a little bit more challenging, because in order to fullfil our goals, we have to look for tools to engage the students. Technology may be useful tools, but there are only tools, and us as instructors need to learn how to use them; this has been one of my main problems at my work place. Instructors just do not want to learn technology.
How has your experience at work been?
This may be true but I also think that this type of learning requires a very motivated student. Someone who is well discipled to perserve to the completion of the course.
