This course was very essential in understanding the ISD model and how the four phases phases are a continous loop to ensure students are getting the information they need to meet the objectives of the course.
My key take away is to use multiple examples. This is necessary due to students varied backgrounds.
I appreciate the reminder for the basics...making sure you let students know what technology is required to take the course. Making sure students understand clearly how to progress in the course and take advantage of interaction opportunities with fellow students.
selection of materials should be based on the goals and objectives of the course
when selecting material graphics and visuls make sure it is sutible for the online enviorment
engaging students with videos and graphics help student engagment
Creating a course with ids in mind
The use of multisensory process during the outline course is the main topic here.
helpful to learn about isd
Realizar la evaluación del curso antes de cada semestre y crear materiales y actividades necesarias en conjunto con evaluaciones. De igual modo tener una variedad -siempre y cuando la actividad o el curso lo permita- que sean diversas.
Using different media strategies including animation
I learned to diversify content assestments to engage students and solidify their learning process upon the desired outcome.
I intend to use the mapping media to connect clo to instructional media
This online model seems to be designed in the same way as classroom instruction instead of considering the difference in tools and audience. Online course design should make use of the technologies that can enhance the learners experience and learning. This lesson does not teach about the uniqueness of online design - it only seems to use the old system that has evolved around classroom lessons
This module provided a nice, step-by-step approach to performing Instructional Systems Design (ISD), including analysis, design, development, and evaluation. It described the 6 different types of media strategies that can be used in course design to engage learners and provided ideas to promote student participation as well as offering various ways to evaluate student learning.
Use different media strategies like videos, animations, and graphics to help your students.
It's important to assess student learning before developing E-learning programs. Designs and development of such programs depend on appropriate learning content and student/instructor expectations.
I've learned there are many aspects to creating a course. It is not something you can take lightly.
The graphic organizers made it really clear and easy to follow. Good example of the content they were also prsenting.
Using the technology available to us as instructors allows us to portray the information in a way that will increase student engagement, and in turn, increase the growth of our students during our classes.
