It is a touchy subject still. The issue isn't always security it viability. You have to know if you think it is mature enough to stand. Several years ago, Google removed a cloud application without much notice and most people would agree that Google is secure.

Don't you think you have to be somewhat cautious as the cloud is not the most secure. Also, if you are at the mercy of Google, how can you control how long you have the application? Google has taken an application down with no warning before!
