Great comments. Many instructors don't have the control of content development. I am not sure that is a good thing or a bad thing. It is suppose to give you time to connect to your students.

Randall defined a program manager as "An online instructor manages the overall organization, delivery, design, and facilitation of course content to help ensure learning outcomes." In most of my course, I am not responsible for these duties. The course is already designed and delivered to the student through readings, PowerPoints or Videos. Sometimes this frustrates me because I cannot control the content delivery. What are some methods I can use to make the content more teachable to my students?

I model APA style for my students in each announcement and note I prepare for each unit. Here is the last part of an announcement:
