Assessment
Assessment of course programs is so essential! Carefully assessing what works and what doesn't is vital to creating the most optimal learning environment. Mcnulty et. al (2014) noted the importance of formative evaluation of quizzes for course programs.

Good question. Typically formative evaluations are not graded per se, but quizzes certainly could give the instructor pertinent information about the students' learning.

I was wondering how formative evaluation is applied to quizzes which establish grading. Would that be a formative evaluation or did I just misunderstand?
