Please tell me what you use. I use some typicaly objective (MC/TF) evaluation tools, but I also use software that allows me to open a student's document and record my voice while I evaluate their work. Then, the students can see and hear me evaluate their work.
They love it, it's individualized and they learn a lot from the assessment.
