Online Teaching Tools
I've worked almost exclusively in online higher education. I am pretty familiar with the technology and ideas behind them. I'd like to share a few programs with you that are helpful to me in the online environment:
Jing
Animoto
Edutopia.org
These are helpful to me...and I think the they will be to you too.
Dale,
Many instructors use the same approach. Your results are consistent with most of them. Very good advice. Thank you for sharing.

Charles,
I have started using PowerPoint presentations for each module, I find that the students really like the "visual" that goes along with my lecture. In addition, I post the presentations in class, and give the students access to them whenever they want.
Michael ,
I am so glad to see the in-class networking provide tangible assistance for you.

Thank you for sharing some of your resources Beth! I'll certainly look into these to see how I can apply them to my MPM courses.
I have not heard of these online tools. What exactly do you use them for? I will log on and try to pull the information myself. However, I would like an idea of how you use them. Thanks so much for providing this information. I am sure it will be helpful.
I will definitely use these tools. I would like to add several software programs that I use in my college algebra courses. These are great tools that I use to enhance my instruction and they can be used in the live chat sessions as well.
1. TI SmartView
2. Microsoft Mathematics 4.0
3. Microsoft PowerPoint-I use this software to create my live chat sessions on different topics.
I'll have to check these out...
I was looking for a way to create a short video showing students how to access online course materials. Thanks.
