Using Video Clips in the classroom
I have a question. What aspects of online teaching do you find would be most beneficial to the students to have recorded on video? For example, have a video introduction of the instructor? A summary on discussion topics? A summary of the chapter? Or any other areas? Thank you.

In the IT courses I teach, I get an enormous amount of use from screen demos that I record (using Jing or similar other programs). I often use these to go over specific techniques or concepts that I know to be integral to completing the assignments, and so far the response has been really good. I used to provide rather large files to download but since then I've created a YouTube channel so that they can stream the videos instead.
