Identifying Shy Students
Identifying and proactively including the quieter students will help enhance learning
I think all the students have unique traits and ability to contribute to class. They shy students often need encouragement to get out of their shell. By no means can it be aggressive, so they do not feel pressured.
However, asking them to elaborate on the answers and provided encouragement is important, and it will help them succeed. It will also contribute to a more lively and vibrant online learning environment.
