teaching non-receptive teachers

I have to teach an inservice on a new method of tracking assignments and grades to my faculty and fear they will resent me because I am forcing them to learn something new and some are already calling it "double work"...How can I put this in a positive light?

I can understand this as I have seen this happen at our school too. When presented it was made to be very exciting explaining the benefits of using the new method. The staff finally realized that the new method though time consuming to learn was very helpful in keeping track of each student and allowing the student access to their information as well.
