Being open and ready for all types
Just like people as individuals there are many types of bosses. Some may fit with your personaility and work ethic like a glove and others be the thorn in your side. As a corporation, all of us have to work together for the same goal.
I agree its not always easy to get along with everyone including your boss. I have worked for a company where in one of my departments i didnt see eye to eye with my director but tried my best to work on getting along since it is work and i am not meant to be friends or like everyone. The same company where i promoted i had a complete different boss in that position and we clicked. I agree in the since we are all working towards the same goal so somtimes putting aside differences and trying to at least get along will make going to work much easier.
working with managers can be difficult in an environment that changes management often, in this case the best approach is to have a short meeting with your new boss and try to assist them in assimilating their new role
sometimes its hard to fit in with the people you work with, but you must make a fair effort.
