Speed of the Leader - Speed of the Gang
It is critical that leaders fully understand that they set the pace. Staff will take their lead and follow. If it is not a hot button for the leader, it won’t be important for staff. This said, it is also critical that leaders are credible, otherwise you will end up with a frustrated and unmotivated workforce.
If a job task or duty is not a priority for the leader, the staff will not follow up with serious and significant work of their own.
A credible leader walks the walk and does not merely talk about doing something that others should do.
