Time management

What are your best recommendations for effectively managing your time?

Darlene,

Losing a list can be traumatic for some folks. It is a great idea to have a back up plan.

Jeffrey Schillinger

I live by lists; for my home life, work, Birthdays and other activities I am involved in. I use monthly, weekly and daily lists with my to-dos and appointments.
This way I don't need to think about it all and depend on my lists. The problem is when you loose them but maybe a good thing sometimes which is funny.

Krystal,

It can be tough to coordinate the "life" and "work" responsibilities when one only has one job. Having three jobs must be tough. I hope you found some things in the course that can help.

I think that having a schedule and a to-do list really help me in managing my time. I work 3 different part time jobs, and knowing what needs to be done today and what needs to be done at some point really helps me to prioritize.

Richard,

I like to be sure I understand institutional priorities as well as places to which I can possible delegate.
