Helping stress solvers? Surprising answers

I was shocked to see that watching tv helped. I do it but don't feel as guilty about it. I hear it kills your brain and wouldn't think of that as a stress reliever. Also being involved with others problems. I would think if dealing with your own is bad, adding to it with someone else's would just multiply the negative stress.

Here is one of my suggestions: "Look back!" Sometimes you become so overwhelmed that you forget how to get through stressful situations. If you take the time to look back and remember some of the things you have overcome, it helps you to focus and realize that you got through that situation, therefore you can get through this one.
TV helps as well. It allows me to focus on something else.
