Stress and Fear of Job
in this day and age the fear of loosing your job can relate onto stress in the workplace
Your professiona is one that continues to change and produce opportunity to teach professionally and for your clients. Whole health clinics are doing a tremendous amount of teaching and communicating better health practices. The knowledge you have with Chiropractic skills can improve anyone's day to day life.
I also can relate to this topic. I am sure this is a growing concern for many of us in this country! I have always been big on not putting all of my eggs in one basket. I am a F/t chiropractor, but also branched out recently to teach Anatomy & Physiology since I knew that my credentials satisfied the requirements. I am getting additional certifications with Chiropractic, as well. I am realizing that increasing my skill set slowly can only help to increase my chances of staying employed with different facets of Chiropractic. The different skills will also increase my chances of staying employed with other occupations! Yet, it also has been rewarding. I have always wanted to teach part-time. I have also enjoyed the gratification received from getting additional certifications from the extra effort put forth.
I can completely relate to your statement. My company similar to other organizations has gone through a few layoffs over the past year. This is confirmation that a restructuring is on the near horizon. With many questions unanswered this has caused great stress and lack of production in several departments.
