Depending On Others

It is always nice to have co-workers, and friends to talk to when you are worrying. They could help you through your issues and guide you through the process. Friends that will lend an ear are great resources for a worrier. They will allow a worrier to vent, and at least get things off their chest.

amy,

There is a time and place for everything. You are correct when feel it is good to vent when others are not involved. It gives you a sense of realease and a moment to reconsider the issues after the dust settles.

I agree. I am a firm believer in venting. I fear though that some see this as an opportunity for others to feel "one up" on the worrier, that it weakens the worrier in some way.

Jamil,
It is great when you have a friend or family member who can listen more than talk. Then they can respond with unemotional direction or guidance. When you have a friend you with integrity and honesty it is priceless.
