How do you differentiate between positive and negative stress? Is there such thing?

Negative stress is a result of trauama or a personal loss in family or friends. Motivation techniques often can have stress results but has an obvious positive outcome. Coaches in sports and business with great leadership ability use motivation that may cause stress but also communicates the value of the outcome by completing the task. Negative stress may cause immediate emotional and health complications.
