Scope of Admissions
Admissions should always strive to be the paragon of compliance. At the forefront of the campus; admissions is the first point of contact and where better shall schools exhibit the highest standards of professionalism.
Courtney,
They should be bonding with the school as a united effort, not just one person.
This is very true, but I would also like to add that sometimes admissions and/or financial planners can be out of the office from time to time and we need to set the expectation right at the front that they will meet with other reps throughout their time here. This way, when the rep that they have created that bond with is away, they don't feel like they are all alone.
Very true, the admissions rep is sometimes the person student's wish to turn even once enrolled because of the nuturing connection. The next important face of the school that I have found is faculty. Faculty can have an affect on the quality of a student's experience.
Jeff.
This is very true. Students form a special bond with their rep which holds throughout their educational experience.
Stephanie,
Most students have a personal attachmentto their reps. After all, they are their first connection to the school.
I agree. That's why a great personality is so important as a admissions rep
Not only is the admissions representative the first point of contact for the propsective student, the admissions representative is also "the face" of the institution and may be one of the primary factors upon which the prospective student bases their decision regarding enrollment.
