I very much enjoyed reading about the resource note books and have sod great ideas to build our training arond the resource notebooks. Has anyone else as built in other important sections they have found useful?
Julia,
Make sure they are protected documents! Accidental deletions do occur.
Bobbie,
It becomes a one stop shop for reference material.
Terri,
A great idea! Committed to compliance.
Nicolette,
With repositories, it is important that there is an administrator so that items cannot be altered or deleted.
I really like the idea of a virtual resource notebook repository. If all departments make all relevant documentation available in one centralized location, we can ensure that our enrollment agents have access to the same information.
The Enrollment team will commit to become experts on compliance and everyone will have a resource to refer to as a back-up.
The Resource Notebook is definitely a great tool for all Departments. At our school the finance department is utilizing a shared network folder to upload documents and letters we send out to students. We saw the neccessity to make these communication templates public to all employees in different departments to keep them "in the loop" about the communication we send out to students.
The notebook will be extremely beneficial as a resource to reference any time there is a question about which the Enrollment Specialist is unsure. I love the idea of a reference binder.
Amy,
