Educating potenial students

As an agent for the school, I feel it is important for students to weigh out all options before signing their enrollment agreement.

soch,

You are right! Informed decisions must be based on true information.

Patty Aronoff

I believe that all potential students should be given all the correct and exact information about the course and school first so they can make a well informed decision.

Elizabeth,

This type of direction is very important. If the student is committed and has the support system in place, the success will be theirs. We want them to be successful as their success is our success.

By taking the time to discuss their options, whether at our school or another, we also earn the trust of potential students. We want them to feel they are making the best decision. We do not want to set up our students for failure and being aware of what we have to offer versus another schoool can dfinitely guide them to make an informed decision. As well,we feel it's very important to encourage applicants to discuss their plans with family and friends.

Audrey,
We need to provide them all the information so they can make their own decision. Choosing a school/education is changing their life path and is not a decision taken lightly.

MARIEFRANCE ,

You may be the initial point of contact but you are also the provider of information which is based on trust. It is imperative that you are well versed in the subject matter. They rely on you!

Lindsey,

The State Approving Agency is your resource for compliance in this area. They are a part of the Florida Department of Education, but not part of the Commission. They are a separate entity within DOE.

I beleive that we as Admissions have a role to help potential students make the right decision when choosing a school. It is our obligation and commitment to the students to provide them with all resources needed to succeed. So I to beleive that it is important to make sure the student feels that before they sign their enrollment agreement that this is the right choice.

I do feel that it is very important as a school agent to be knowledge enough about the admission process so that we will be able to provide the essential information and options to the students to allow them to make better decision in choosing their career. It is imperative that we are well educated on the issues that may affect the school we are representing and the prospective students to come.

Making a decision to commit to continuing education is a very important decision and not one to be taken lightly. As admissions personnel, we have the responsibility of helping prospective students make an informed decision about their future. The more information that a prospective student walks way from your campus with, helps them with overcoming buyers remorse and enables them to provide answers to friends, family and associates. The more we in admissions share accurate and factual information with prospects the better their outcomes will be.

Russ,

Signing the enrollment agreement is commitment to their future. They need to explore all options and understand the commitment needed in order to be successful.
