I think having all the policies and procedures, rules, statutes, along with all important information about your specific school all in one place is a great idea. Then if you have any questions, you know where to find the answers.

The notebook should be a resource for all the information you need to operate legally and within fair consumer practices. Some people actually have a separate notebook in order to put all their program information, such in the case of schools with many programs.

It is also a great place to have everything that you need. I have created also many note books for resources on different policies for each program that I do admissions work for. I am assigned two programs but in registration rushes I have to know all the programs in order to assist my colleagues and students.
