Agents

Anyone out there have some experience on being an agent in the field...any tips?

Casandra,
Passion does translate forward. We can change the world through individual attitudes.

I've come to find that the more knowlegeable I become about what we offer at my particular institute the more passionate and excited I become and I feel that really translates to the students/potential students.

Jessica,
Talk with instructors. They are willing to share their passion with those who are interested. Start with a list of questions that prospective students ask you during the interview process. Expand with questions of your own.

Andrea,
My best advice is to be very knowledgeable and practice honesty, integrity, and place yourself in the student perspective.

I would like some tips as well. Since I am not near any campus that offers the majority of the programs for my institution, I can't sit in on a class or even walk around a campus. I feel like those are both really great and important ways to be able to connect with a prospective student. Without those type of helpful things what can we do to gain the same experience to share with our leads?
