Using iPad for a resource notebook

How do you feel about using an iPad for a resource notebook.

Jennifer,
Sounds like you have a great plan! Technology products provides us new avenues and ways of accessing information anywhere.

Patty Aronoff

Using a tablet/ipad device to store and reference materials saves paper, space and allows real time updates to keep current across the board for students and professionals in every field. No matter how one keeps data, it must be organized to be effective and useful. This is the way of now and eventually must be assimilated.

Mauren,
Technology does bring it to you anytime or anywhere.

incorporating Ipads, or some type of tablet device to the enrollment package sounds like a Great idea! id love to see both staff and students using this technology.

Derek,

iPads are a great tool. Several schools are incorporating them in the educational process by making it part of the enrollment package and providing textbooks online.

I feel the iPad is a great tool to have on a couple fronts. Having the ability to access your resources anywhere, on the go, is important especially when dealing with gen-y'ers that are already programmed to receive everything in real time. Also from a technology standpoint reps possessing tablets show potential students your school is forward thinking and up-to-date are current technological trends.

Zabrina,

Technology does bring many advantages. You have to be very organized though if you are storing a large number of documents.

Patty Aronoff

I agree. Not only is technology undeniably growing in prevelence within businesses, but it's also so much easier to stay organized. There's little risk of losing papers or having forgotten to print out a vital piece of informtaion. I actually hope the use of technology will improve in businesses!

Spencer,
It is part of our life today and certainly the life we will see in the future. We need to be mindful that not everyone can keep up with he technological changes.

Patty Aronoff

I feel like culturally and technologically speaking, this is simply an inevitability. I'm glad there isn't strict rules on the form in which the notebook exists as this trend will only grow.

JOHN,
I use my iPad all the time! But the decision is really up to you as the user. I find for myself that flipping through pages in search for my answer helps me renew and refresh along the way.

Patty Aronoff

Lawrence,

Of course! The importance is in the material. How you access it and maintain it, is really up to you.

Patty Aronoff

I like this idea, would this be acceptable?
