Admissions Representative: A Major Responsibility

I realize a lot of people have discussed this already, but being my first time in this position, and after studying this particular section, I’m much more aware as to how crucial this role is. Not only are we the first point of contact for our institutions with the public in general, but we bear great responsibility in helping prospective students make one of the most important commitments in life. I just look forward to doing my best in fulfilling all expectations in this rewarding job.

It is very rewarding when you KNOW you have made a difference in someone's life and made their dream come true. As as Admissions Representative, it is our duty to be nothing but honest with prospective students. We owe it to them and we owe it to our schools because if a student feels they were lied to, that word will get around. My parents always said "integrity is how you act when no one is watching."

The Admissions Representative is a very important person in school because of An admissions representative is an individual who works for a college, university, or school to help students and potential students get started in their studies. He or she may be responsible for signing students into classes, giving counsel on which classes need to be taken in order to achieve certain academic goals, and providing advice on issues like student housing or financial aid.
