The Importance of Continuing Training
It's Important to have a refresher Admissions Training at least every 6 months to be up to date with the laws and regulations and prevent mistake that can cause further issues.

It is very important to be up to date with all of the training. Otherwise you may be giving student's the wrong information which could seriously hurt them in the future. To find a school that you think you might want to go to you normally will talk to other people about there experince and we want this to be good, so we need to make sure we are up to date and helping these prospective students.

Yes the ongoing training makes a HUGE difference, in a good way, as it continues to help you polish your craft and allow you to continue to improve. I don't think we can ever learn enough about admissions. Especially since things are always changing too.

It is very important to have continued training. Policies, marketing strategies, etc are always changing within your institution and we need to make sure we are on top of the new procedures. Continued training is a great way to make sure the Admissions Department and the school as a whole are staying compliant and giving prospective and current students the most up to date information possible.
