Agent vs Admissions Representative

So by taking this course, as I am the admission representative, I am also approved as an agent? Our school only has 1 title: Admissions Representative, but I am expected to do what is defined under the term agent and admission representative.

Robert,
The training is primarily the same. You would have internal practices that you would have to be trained on in order to perform business outside of the institution. You would also need to be licensed by the commission as an agent as well.

Jeffrey,
An agent can go outside of the brick-and-mortar location. They have the freedom to travel and conduct business on behalf of the institution.

If you wanted to work as both, an Agent and an Admissions Representative do you need to go through two different training processes?

What are the benefits of being an agent rather than an admissions rep?

Charles,
One person can do both. It is required that an agent operating outside of the school is issued a license by the commission.

If it is a small school do we have to hire two different persons for the two positions or one person can be both?

Lisa,
An agent must be,licensed by the Commission. There is an application, fee, background check involved. They are two separate position as far as the Commission is concerned.
