Helping students

Being fair and honest is something that we should always strive for. Students should know what they are getting into and we should be honest by sharing this with them

Lisa,

You are right on target! Full disclosure and transparency is crucial not only for compliance but it's the right way to handle business. We expect to be treated the same.
Patty Aronoff

Full disclosure is best the way to manage a student expectations . When starting any process, ( new job, education, fitness routine, surgery, buying home or car) it’s very important to know what to expect thru a process and what will successful completion look like.

Sugar coating is NOT BENEFICIAL TO REALITY. Most importantly if you don’t know ASK, don’t guess.

Agreed. This is about someones future and what they are doing to ad value to it. It is about them and their families.

Jeanne-Marie,
Students should enter school with eyes wide open, no surprises. The result is what you are experiencing...excellent referrals.

Our policy has always been to explain everything to all perspective candidates. The result has been many referrals from our graduates.

Erica,
It takes preparation, commitment and dedication to success no matter the "bumps" in the road.

LaVarne,
Honesty, integrity and full disclosure.

Ronald
We must be thorough and honest.

Anissa,
Your response is so true!

LaVarne,
Misleading information is nothing more than setting people up for failure. Full disclosure and transparency is required by law.

Erica,
Great analogy!

Byron,
Agreed! Post secondary education creates jobs and impacts all our lives. Honesty is what we are about.

One of the many reasons we have been in business for so long is honesty. The students know everything about the program and what they are getting into. We go above and beyond to charter to our students needs

Absolutely! Remember, for our students, we ARE the face of our schools. The information we share must alway be presented with the intent to protect the interests of our students.

Yes, full disclosure and understanding of Policies & Procedures, what the expectations are, all fees involved, course dates, and rules are vital to fulfilling our College's missions with full integrity and ethics!

We are responsible for providing accurate information so that the student is not being mislead. Thus, we should not "sugar coat" the offerings of an institution that could put us in the position of being sued for misrepresentation.

If we focus on the student's ability to succeed, then full disclosure should be everybody's responsibility. Not disclosing details of a program would be like asking someone to start a 50-meter race without letting them know that there were going to be hurdles on the track. It would leave the runner possibly unable to finish the race, and only rarely would they have anything nice to say about the race or its organizers after they were done.

Marsha-Ann,
Honesty-integrity-full disclosure
