By listening to a prospective student, you can almost describe a personality, you can recognize if that person has fears, worries, indecision, confusion, happiness, responsibility, even courage to adhere any adversity that might come in the way in order to achieve the goal. Excellent communication skills are a must when it comes to admissions.

The message needs to be validated when communicating information. Asking the student to repeat back in their own words to make sure they understood will ensure the communication was effective.
You are right about this Jose and the best part is that the more accurracte and detailed information you provide to a prospective student, the less fear and anxiety they'll have related to financial aid. It serves the dual purpose of being both ethical/compliant as well as effective.

This is so true. Also, you need to be knowledgeable in all areas of your Institution so that you can help the prospective student with any of their concerns or objectives about reaching their goals.
