Is it a good or bad idea to have the course catalog available as a downloadable pdf file for the world to see? Or should we just give that to inquiring students only?
Hi Suzy:
I attend current events and speak with a lot of potential students. I always advise them to look at our web site so they can learn about our curricula, expectations, policies, accreditation and other pertinant information. I let the student know there isn't any pressure and the student can contact us with any questions they have. I think this approach seems to be a less prssuring experience for the student.
Natalie,
Transparency is the only way to operate. Make sure your website information matches the documentation provided at the school.

Suzy,
It required by rule that students are provided a copy of the catalog. They sign to that effect when they sign the enrollment agreement.

We make ours available to anyone via the public side of our website. I think it is a good idea to make this information readily available. It shows that as a school you are willing to be transparent and fully disclose details about your school rules, regulations, policies, etc.
