Matthew,
Excellent! It is very important that everyone has current information.
Paul,
Excellent! Many schools have a double check to make sure the paperwork is in order.

An additional resource to combine with your resource notebook.
Dawn,
Being organized lets you pick up where you left off with ease.
Lauren,
The beauty of the notebook is the assembly of what will work for you. Be creative.
We found that just checking it off was not sufficient. We now have a place for the student and the administrator to initial on each of their required actions. Some actions require a date also. There is always that "one" file that something cannot be completed in one day.
I'm still learning the procedures used at our institution. The process we use it dictated by a check off list. This ensures each document is completed and put in the correct order, the rep must initialize what paperwork they completed. After the paperwork has all been completed its file is then checked over by our AD to ensure entirety. This seems to be a solid system but it can always be improved upon. Do you have any helpful hints that I'm missing?
I am putting all requirements and information in a folder for each employee that is involved in admissions and advertising to complete.
Our school uses a document checklist with a weekly updates.
We have a New Rep training Binder with tabs that seperate each section to go over.
Very important it helps you organize your notes as you prepare for you interview especially if you have aa few inerruptions to appointments and interviews.
I put it all in a binder with labels separating the sections. That's what works for me. I also highlighted and put post-it notes on things I need to refer back to, or things that stuck out to me.
